So, let's start with Democracy, it's Election time in US and EU

Are you sure we westerns are living and have lived in a Democracy since WWII?

Is the federation of States united called U.S.A a Democracy? Are we sure that from any angle you look at US you can say it’s a democracy and you, as Citizen, have lived in a real, factual, rightful democracy?

Please take time to watch this music video of one of my favorite songs when I was a teenager with long hairs, a smile in my face, believing we were in a democracy. Txs!

Do you really think that US soldiers shooting down students in an University campus was an example of Democracy and that US Presidents even took the arrogant right to affirm they’re exporting that kind of Democracy abroad?

Were that agglomerate of different old european Countries, the ones called the “Founders” of European Community, with completely different cultures, traditions, philosophies, responsibilities, origins and legacies, a group of real Democratic Countries? And is the actual EU, falsely named Europe United that it’s all but united and not even a federation, (and will never be by its history and above arguments), a democracy? Is EU an example of Democracy in the way is organized, ruled, represented by its actual Institutions like EU Commission, EU Council, EU Parliament?

I’m afraid not. None of US and EU are Democratic at all. By facts, by Governments and politicians behaviors and acts, by the State Administrators and by the local Administrators behaviors and acts. By the choices they made in every aspect of our life, of other Countries life and freedom, in the way they administer one of the fundamental column of Democracy: Justice! Without a real Justice, functioning Justice there is no Democracy at all. It simply can’t be, can’t work. If there is corruption or political control on Judges, on Supreme Courts elections and rulings there is no justice at all. Justice in our western Countries exists mainly to make rich lawyers only.

Or do you think that Democracy is all about going to vote in a box or even worst, in an easily hacked electronic voting machine, or through an easily hacked mail vote, once a while? Once every 4 or 5 years?

In my country, Italy, we had really big problems in the past with that kind of false Democracy mechanisms: most of foreign press during the ‘70s and through the ‘90s were making jokes of Italian Governments lasting for no more than a year or less! Ha, ha, ha…
But there is nothing to laugh sorry, actually Italians were giving a demonstration of REAL Democracy: if politicians do not find a majority to rule, to make laws, to manage economy and so, why they should stay on for 4 years or more? Get a lot of money doing nothing? So, let’s vote again. Let’s give Citizens the sovereignty to change mind or to cast their vote to other Parties or politicians or political programs. It’s a fundamental Citizens, People, Right to be the sovereign of their country if we are in a democracy. If not, as today, as yesterday, you have a Monarchy of a Ruling Class/Elite/Caste that decide and it’s sovereign above Citizens and People Rights.

So? Do you think to be a good, democratic, responsible, Citizen giving up your responsibility to someone else to decide for your life and for the one of your family? Do you really think as an American Citizen that your politicians voting for more wars, for more mothers and children blood, are acting the way you want and doing the right thing? You Americans have a CLEAR statement in your Declaration of Independence that give you the Right to overturn your Government if it’s acting against your wills, rights and against your happiness (this is wonderful, lucky you guys!).

Did you ever use that powerful real democratic power? When sorry?

We, in Europe, did use that right during the WWII. Those men and women and teenagers were called Partisans and they fought against Fascists and Nazi and often they paid with their life. And their friends, relatives, families paid with their life: Nazi were killing 15/20 Italian civilians for each German soldier killed by Partisans. Does this proportion suggest you anything happening today? No?
I’ll help you out: Israelis are killing more than 20 Palestinian civilians for every Israeli killed or captured on October 7th.

So, should we call’em Nazi from now on? And call “Nazi supporters” all the Governments that support Israel genocide?
